Brockton Small Business Program
"Investing, impacting and enhancing our small business community today, tomorrow and for the future" ~ Mary Waldron, Executive Director, Brockton 21st Century Corporation
In order for our community to stay economically stable, we need to diversify our business community and have a strong small business sector. In order to do that, in 2010 the Board of the Brockton 21st Century Corporation in partnership with Mayor Linda M. Balzotti and the Brockton City Council created a pilot program with resources dedicated to working with our small businesses.
The Brockton Small Business Program is designed to proactively assist the business community in providing the necessary resources and technical asistnce for sustainablity and growth.
This program targets both new and existing small businesses. We work with our partners including: SEED Corporation, SCORE, SBA, Massachusetts, Supplier Diversity Office, Mass. Office of Business Development.
The objective of the program is twofold:
A) Provide trainings/seminars on topics critical for growth
B) Provide individual consulting services - technical assistance
